  • People who are suffering from acne must make it a point to wash their face every day with warm water and a mild soap.
  • Never over wash your face or scrub it too hard as this might lead to dry skin.
  • If there are any pimples on your face then take care not to prick it as this can lead to redness, swelling or even scarring. Better apply a good anti-pimple cream.
  • Those who wear glasses or glares should clean them and also clean the areas around the nose and eyes prevent oil from clogging the pores.
  • Wear loose clothes if you spot any type of injuries and blemishes on the skin. this will make it easier for the skin to heal.
  • Before going to bed, remove any traces of makeup as these can block your skin pores leading to pimples, eye infections, lip discoloration and the like.
  • Keep your skin protected from the harmful rays of the sun by applying moisturizing cream or sunscreens. Overexposure to the sun may harm your skin in many ways. It also increases the risk of skin cancer and developing wrinkles.
Skin Cleansing Practices
  • Mash a ripe banana with milk and apply the paste on the face. After twenty minutes wash it off with cold water. Repeat the process at least two to three times a week to make your skin flawless.
  • Gently apply honey on your face and neck and massage it in circular motion. Leave it for twenty minutes and later wash it with cold water.
  • Blend two tablespoon of honey with an egg white and apply it on your face and hands. Leave it for fifteen minutes and then wash with cold water.
  • To get rid of blackheads, pimples and wrinkles make a paste of fresh fenugreek leaves and apply it on your skin.
  • Combine one tablespoon of fresh lemon juice with one cup of sugar. Lather your face and body with any kind of mild soap and scrub the entire body with the mixture. Take a shower and you will have a radiating skin.
Foods For Healthy Skin
  • Green tea is loaded with antioxidants and polyphenols, which makes it an excellent skin care agent. Research have shown that regular consumption of tea helps to reduce sunburns and skin damage caused due to overexposure to ultraviolet rays of the sun. Green tea also ranks high on vitamins D, C and K, zinc, riboflavin, calcium, iron and magnesium, which strengthens the skin.

  • The importance of drinking water for the health of the skin can never be understated. Water not only flushes out all the toxins from body but also aid in keeping the skin clear from all kinds of blemishes. Drink at least eight to ten glasses of water to get glowing skin.
